You can permanently delete your JustKcal account at any time. This removes your profile, scans, weight log, and saved meals. The deletion is irreversible.
From the app (recommended)
- Open JustKcal on your phone.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account at the bottom.
- Confirm. Your account and all related data are queued for deletion.
By email
If you cannot access the app, email [email protected]from the address linked to your account, with subject "Delete my account". We will verify your identity and delete the account within 7 days.
What gets deleted
- Your authentication record (email, Apple ID, or Google ID link).
- Your profile (name, age, height, weight, activity level).
- Every scan, including any photos you submitted.
- Every weight log entry.
- Your saved meal library.
What does not get deleted
We may retain a minimal record of the deletion event for fraud prevention and legal compliance — for example, that an account previously existed at this email — but nothing that identifies you or ties back to your activity.
How long it takes
Most data is removed within minutes. Backups are purged within 30 days.
