These terms apply to anyone using JustKcal — the mobile app, the website, and any related services we offer. By using JustKcal, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
What JustKcal is
JustKcal is a calorie tracking tool. You submit a food photo, a text description, a voice note, or a barcode, and we return an estimate of calories and macronutrients. We also offer optional weight tracking and a personal saved-meals library.
What JustKcal is not
- It is not a medical device.
- It is not a diet plan or a weight-loss program.
- It does not give nutrition advice.
- It is not a substitute for professional medical guidance.
The numbers we show are estimates produced by AI. Real-world portions, ingredients, and preparation vary. If you have a medical condition, allergy, or restriction, please consult a qualified professional rather than relying on JustKcal.
Your account
You can use JustKcal as a guest or with an account. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping access to it secure. If you sign in with Apple or Google, the security of those accounts is governed by Apple and Google.
Acceptable use
- Use JustKcal for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Do not attempt to break, abuse, or reverse-engineer the service.
- Do not submit content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes other people's rights.
Premium subscription
Some features may be offered as a paid subscription through the App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, and their terms apply to billing, renewal, and refunds. You can cancel any time from your platform's subscription settings.
Termination
You can stop using JustKcal at any time and delete your account from within the app. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Disclaimer
JustKcal is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Calorie and macro estimates may be inaccurate. We do not guarantee that the service will be available, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, JustKcal will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and let you know in the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Istanbul, Türkiye, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
